Eryk ran out of the burning house. While they were looking for him, shocking news came
The fire broke out on Monday, February 24 after 6 p.m. in a single-family wooden house on Sołecka Street in the Mileszki district of Łódź. Firefighters arrived at the scene. At one point, a 16-year-old boy who was staying there ran out of the burning building. The child was not wearing a jacket. He probably also had no shoes. The firefighting operation itself lasted four hours. The interior of the house burned down. The search for the 16-year-old boy also began immediately.
Dramatic appeals for help in finding the child have appeared on the Internet.
On Tuesday, February 25, local media published information about the boy's death and the end of the search. The teenager was supposed to have died after being hit by a train at a nearby railroad crossing. However, the police have not confirmed this information.
Police officers patrolling the area noticed the guard at the crossing and determined that a young man had been fatally hit. We do not rule out that it may be the same person who fled the burning building, but we still do not have confirmation of this.

She also explains that a typical search operation is not underway. "Nobody has reported this boy missing to us. The police are paying attention, patrolling the area, to see if the 16-year-old is somewhere," the spokeswoman concludes.
