Great celebration at Różanka. Take your loved ones, friends, neighbors to the city's birthday

This Saturday at Różanka will be unforgettable! In one of the most beautiful corners of the city, let's celebrate the exceptional anniversary of Szczecin together.

At 1 p.m., a mandatory element of every birthday will appear on Różanka – a cake. For the 80th birthday of Polish Szczecin, two huge cakes weighing a total of 160 kilograms have been prepared. This is a symbolic and sweet thank you to all residents. There will be an opportunity for a group photo, conversations, wishes and tastings.

Between 1 and 3 p.m., music that connects generations will be heard. The Szczecinianie Song and Dance Ensemble will perform – a group that has been cultivating the memory of the traditions of the first post-war residents of Szczecin for years. During the performance, we will hear the city's bugle call and fragments of the "Szczecińska Suite" – a composition based on melodies and dances brought to our region by settlers from various parts of Poland. All in authentic folk costumes, decorated with embroidery with a magnolia flower motif – the symbol of our city.

The Good Vibration Quartet will also be on stage. Their concert is a journey through the most famous musical themes from Disney fairy tales, films and pop culture – all in light, friendly arrangements. This is music that entertains, moves and is memorable.

As usual, the Rose Garden will have plenty of attractions for the youngest. Workshops, animations, and family quizzes about Szczecin will be held between 12 and 15 p.m. There will be an opportunity to create anniversary decorations – 80th anniversary headbands – colorful head accessories that each child will make themselves, honorary citizen of Szczecin medals, 3D flowers – inspired by Szczecin gardens, created on paper as three-dimensional images. As part of the “Rose Garden of Art” project, children will take part in a group painting of a large-format mural – bees, roses, and ecological messages will appear on it.

For the finale, Różanka invites everyone to a great outdoor dance party! The fun on the dance floor will last from 4 to 7 p.m.
