The Provincial Police Commander in Szczecin and the Commander of the West Pomeranian Border Guard did not take part in the meeting of the Public Security Committee of the City Council on migration and the situation on the Polish-German border. Residents of Szczecin's Pogodna, where the Foreigner Integration Center is to be built, are organizing a neighborhood meeting on migration.

On Monday morning, a press conference in front of the Foreigners Integration Centre on Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie Street was organised by regional councillors and Law and Justice MP Dariusz Matecki.

According to the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters, the provincial commander did not take part in the meeting because "he cooperates at the level of the governor, while the meeting at the City Hall corresponds in rank to the municipal police commander." The commander of the regional Border Guard unit, on the other hand, "did not withdraw his participation in the commission, but did not confirm the invitation at all," the press section of the Guard reports.
