Netanyahu Thanked US for Attack on Iran: 'Turning Point in History'

The United States attacked nuclear facilities in Iran using B-2 bombers. The attack was confirmed by both Donald Trump and representatives of the country that was attacked. The Prime Minister of Israel also commented on the US actions in a special address.

Netanyahu in Address to Nation: History Will Remember Trump's Action

— Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to attack Iranian nuclear facilities with the awesome power of the United States will change history, said Benjamin Netanyahu. He emphasized that his country did “truly incredible things” during the “special operation” against Iran, but it was the United States that did “what no other country on Earth could do.”

“History will remember that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime, the world’s most dangerous weapon. His leadership today has created a turning point in history that can help lead the Middle East to a future of prosperity and peace,” Netanyahu said.

Israeli Prime Minister: The promise has been fulfilled

Later, the Israeli politician decided to write on social media. "Dear citizens of Israel, my brothers and sisters. Together we have achieved an unprecedented achievement in the history of Israel. Remember that from the beginning of the operation I promised you that Iranian nuclear facilities would be destroyed one way or another. That promise has been fulfilled," he emphasized.

"The United States continued, with greater intensity and great force, the attacks by the Israeli army and the Mossad on the Iranian nuclear program. This program threatened our existence as well as peace throughout the world," Netanyahu assured.

"Immediately after the operation ended, President Trump called me. It was a very warm and moving conversation. He blessed me, he blessed our army and he blessed our nation," the politician said, calling Trump "a strong leader of the free world."

"He is a great friend of Israel, a friend like no other. On my behalf and on behalf of all the citizens of Israel, on behalf of the entire Jewish people, I thank him from the bottom of my heart," Netanyahu concluded.
