Ruben Santos is another new face of Texom Eurobus Przemyśl

Ruben Santos was born in Sintra and is a product of Rio de Mouro's youth academy. At 15, he joined Atletico Cacem and then Unidos do Cacem. His talent was spotted by Sporting Lisbon scouts, and he joined the Portuguese club in the 2009-2010 season. He spent three years there, playing for the U-17, U-18, and U-19 teams.
His first professional experience playing futsal at the highest level in Portugal came in the 2012-2013 season with Leões Porto Salvo. Until the 2021-2022 season, he split his time at the top level between that club and Quinta dos Lombos. Both teams are at the top of the Portuguese top flight. With the Porto Salvo "Lions," he played a total of 147 championship matches, scoring 50 goals. He also played 57 matches and scored 24 goals for Quinta dos Lombos.
In the 2021-2022 season, he joined SC Braga. He played there for two seasons alongside Tiago Correia, who had already signed a contract with Texom Eurobus. With that team, he won a bronze medal in the Portuguese Championship in the 2022-2023 season. He played a total of 62 matches, scoring 13 goals. He spent the 2023-2024 season at another leading Portuguese futsal club, SCU Torreense. There, he was a true star. He played 27 matches and was the club's most effective player with 17 goals. SCU Torreense advanced to the quarterfinals of the league playoffs, where they lost 0-2 to Sporting, and to the quarterfinals of the League Cup. In his final campaign, 2024-2025, he played in Saudi Arabia for Al-Ettifaq Fustal Club. He was one of the team's leaders, but he didn't lead them to the playoffs. Al-Ettifaq FC finished sixth in one of the league groups and finished in the regular season. Instead, he played in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup, where they lost to Al-Nassr.
