Aneta Zielińska with her daughter Róża:

– My late father, Andrzej, was a man full of memories, and also a so-called handyman, because he was able to fix everything that was broken. Fortunately, I inherited these skills, thanks to which no home improvement specialist is able to cheat me or rip me off with the price of the service. This makes me very happy! In addition, he could dance very well. He was a man to whom I owe a lot. Unfortunately, he passed away 18 years ago. He was characterized by perseverance and diligence. It is a pity that my daughter Róża did not have the opportunity to meet him. We celebrate the custom of going to the cemetery on his holiday, whether it was his name day or another, and we light a candle in his memory. He is very much missed and I regret greatly that he did not meet his granddaughter, my daughter.

Marcin Kaszek with his son Iwo:

- Since I am a father myself, Father's Day has a huge significance for me, right after Mother's Day. My dad's name is Mirosław, and through "Kurier Szczeciński" I send him my warmest wishes, because the role of a father is very important for the family. This holiday is of course very important and it is good that it is celebrated, because it emphasizes the role of a father in raising children, just like Mother's Day or Grandparents' Day. My three-year-old son Iwo is already aware of this holiday, which is beautiful in itself. Life without the presence of dad, mom, or family would be sad, so it is worth enjoying every good moment with these people.

Zdzislaw Lesniak:

– My dad's name was Stanisław and he was a very good father to me. He died about 20 years ago; he was a wonderful man. I really regret that he is gone. Dad was always helpful to me and my siblings. Even though he worked his whole life, employed at a power plant, he was always supportive to us, just like my mother, who is also no longer alive. I am already a father myself and I can say that it gives me great joy that my daughter Iwona remembers me. On Father's Day, she always has a little present for me.

Kamila Siedlecka with her daughter Ida:

- Father's Day is a very special time for all fathers, or daddies, whom we should sincerely thank for being there. Most often, it is them that we can rely on very much. My daddy's name is Albert, and whenever we have the opportunity, we always see each other with great joy. Unfortunately, he lives abroad every day, but that does not change the fact that I can always count on him, regardless of the distance that separates us. My daddy and I share beautiful memories, of which there are many. One of them, which I always remember and recall, is the moment when we were playing football and he sprained his ankle. Although the case was probably serious for his health, it still caused a bit of a funny situation, especially because of his reaction and the fact that I was still a little girl at the time. What else do I love him for? For raising me himself, and that still moves me very much. This is extremely important to me, and I thank him very much for it, sending my warmest wishes via "Kurier Szczeciński" on the occasion of Father's Day. I wish him good health and as much happiness as possible.

Marta Nadolska-Plackowiak:

– I will start by saying that Father's Day should be celebrated as Dad's Day, because it is a form of special bond and empathy that is born between a child and their father, not a father in general. My father's name is Mirosław and he is exactly what he is supposed to be. That is, loving us and brave, and I really like his view of the world and this special optimism. Our bond is, to put it bluntly, special, because it is between a daughter and a father, and even though I have two brothers, I believe that my bond with my father is the special one. What connects us is an irreplaceable space. That is why I feel so exceptionally good with my father. That is why, through "Kurier Szczeciński", my dear father, on the occasion of your holiday I am sending you my warmest wishes. I wish you first of all health, because that is the most important thing here, but also fulfillment of dreams. ©℗
