The farm building was on fire

The firefighters had a lot of work over the weekend. On Saturday they were called to a fire in Wilczyn.

On Saturday, February 22, at 8:44 p.m., the dispatcher of the State Fire Service Headquarters in Trzebnica received a report of a fire in a residential building in Wilczyn. He sent rescue and firefighting units to the scene.

- After the Fire Department arrived at the scene, it turned out that a farm building was on fire, where mainly several tons of grain were stored. The actions consisted of securing the scene, applying one stream of water to the interior and one stream of water to the burning roof. After locating the developing fire, an opening was made in the top of the roof in order to create smoke ventilation - informed Capt. Łukasz Dziedziński, deputy commander of the rescue and firefighting unit of the State Fire Service in Trzebnica.

After extinguishing the fire, the firefighters handed the scene over to the owner and completed their activities.
