A series of victories for Legia Warsaw, first against Stal Rzeszów (2:0), then Zawisza Bydgoszcz (5:0), and finally even against the Polish champion Wisła Kraków (2:1) enabled the capital team to advance to the championship group (TOP 4). This means that in the second part of the season, the capital's amputee footballers will fight for medals.

The defeat by Legia ended Wisła Kraków's unprecedented streak of unbeaten matches, which had lasted over two years.
