US Attacks Iran, Regime Responds with Force. 'Long-lasting Consequences'

The American attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities are outrageous and will have lasting consequences, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said. Earlier, Washington struck three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan, for the first time in the war. Tehran responded by firing ballistic missiles at Israel, according to media reports.
President Donald Trump said in a late-night address that the U.S. military has carried out "highly successful attacks" on Iran's nuclear facilities . The primary target of the strike was the uranium enrichment facility in Fordo .
"Congratulations to our great American warriors. There is no other military in the world that could do this. Now is the time for peace, " he wrote on social media, adding that Iran " must now agree to end this war ."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also appealed to international organizations. "Silence in the face of this blatant aggression exposes the world to an unprecedented and all-encompassing danger ," they emphasized.
"The world cannot forget that it was the US that started the war against Iran ," it added.
Iran Responds to US Attack: Missile Strike on IsraelShortly after the American attack, the Israeli military reported detecting ballistic missiles fired from Iran , the Times of Israel reported. The shelling reportedly killed 11 people .
It is the first Iranian missile attack in more than 24 hours , and the first since the United States announced it had struck three key facilities related to Iran's nuclear program.

The northern and central parts of the country were attacked. Reuters reported that several explosions and air raid sirens were heard over Tel Aviv , and that intercepted missiles were fired over Jerusalem .
The military appealed to residents to go to shelters. Israeli state broadcaster Kan reported that 10 Iranian missiles hit Israel. After 7 a.m. Polish time, the military signaled residents that they could leave their shelters.
Due to recent events, Israel announced the closure of its airspace to arrivals and departures. In turn, Israeli airlines El Al and Arkia announced the suspension of flights for Israeli citizens returning to the country.
