Young women from Jarosław at the Italian handball festival
The Interamnia World Cup tournament featured teams from all over the world, from South America to Asia, Africa, North America, and, of course, Europe. As mentioned, the JKS San Jarosław girls' team, led by coaching duo Marzanna Ulma and Galyna Kowalenko, competed in two age categories: those born in 2011 and those born in 2009 and younger.
The 2011 team, the 14-year-olds, won four, drew two, and lost two in their group matches against eight different teams. This earned them 10 points and 5th place in their group. The 2009 team, the 16-year-olds, won twice, lost five, and finished 6th.
The 16-year-old team (born 2009) consisted of: Kaja Świętoniowska, Maja Aab, Wiktoria Kiwacka, Julia Potoczny, Julia Chycińska, Kinga Dietrich, Wiktoria Saramak, Wiktoria Leśniak, Patrycja Szul, Pola Szczerek, and Emilia Duda. The 14-year-old team (born 2011) performed in Teramo with: Gabriela Knara, Julia Ciborowska, Emilia Ścibisz, Nikola Rząsa, Amelia Czerniak, Julia Kułaj-Niemczyk, Zofia Mossoczy, Milena Kulikowska, Julia Zagrobelna, Nikola Mierzwa, Julia Sanakiewicz, Martyna Knara, Oliwia Karpierz, Maja Mazepa, Laura Marcinkiewicz, Natalia Kazak, Melania Kułaj-Niemczyk, and Lena Malina.
