The Spirit of Pol'and'Rock Festival. Exhibition at the Stargard Library

Roman Budzowski's photography exhibition can be viewed until the end of August within the walls of the Stargard Library.
A new exhibition at the Stargard Library immerses visitors in the atmosphere of the most beautiful festival in the world. The excitement and freedom experienced by participants of this annual event, which first took place in Kostrzyn nad Odrą and then, from 2022, in Czaplinek, was captured by Roman Budzowski, a photography enthusiast and video game developer. His exhibition features over 50 photographs, selected from several thousand he took while traveling to the festival. He took over 2,200 at this year's event.
"These are photos I took between 2018 and 2025," says the exhibition's author. "It was a true photography school for me; I see progress in my photography every year. I'm unsatisfied because I'd like to show more photos at the exhibition, but I can't. However, I wanted it to be my story about the Pol'and'Rock Festival, as I saw it. Excellent photos are important, but if they don't tell a story, the exhibition loses its value, in my opinion. For the exhibition in the library, I searched for photos that would tell the story of the festival and its people. I hope that after seeing them, those who haven't been to the festival before will visit next year. I was flattered when the official festival photographer asked me to join the team. I decided I wasn't so caught up in the atmosphere portrayed in the photos on social media."
Roman Budzowski has had several exhibitions to his credit, including "Stargard is not Manhattan," "Cukrownia Kluczewo," "Clad in Nothing," "Soni Spatium," "Inspiring Mr. H.", and "Ordinary - Extraordinary." During Thursday's opening, he showed photographs that were not included in the exhibition, talked about the behind-the-scenes of shooting at the festival, and shared anecdotes and experiences from his marathon concerts during the 6th edition of Pol'and'Rock, including this year's edition, including the time he was doused with champagne by Michał Wiśniewski of Ich Troje. The exhibition at the Stargard Library will be on display until the end of August. The opening was graced by Piotr Korzeniowski, a young guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, and Stargard musician Mariusz Zarzeczny, who played at the finale of this year's festival in Czaplinek. ©℗
