The Silesian Pharmaceutical Chamber will co-finance courses for pharmacists. It's worth hurrying.

The Silesian Chamber of Pharmacists will support its pharmacists in acquiring new competencies and co-finance vaccination qualification courses. Registration is ongoing, but places are limited, and participation will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Silesian Pharmaceutical Chamber is the first in Poland to subsidize vaccination qualification courses for its members. Each pharmacist who regularly pays dues will spend just PLN 150 on the course, with the remaining costs (PLN 700) covered by the Chamber. This solution, the Chamber argues, will allow more pharmacists to acquire new skills while also preventing dropouts after enrolling in the course.
The Silesian Chamber of Pharmacists has introduced a small fee into its regulations due to the overwhelming interest in the courses. Participation in the courses not only provides the opportunity to obtain new vaccination qualifications, but above all, it provides an opportunity for professional development, expanding the role of pharmacists in the healthcare system, and building the prestige of the profession.
The course will consist of two parts:
- theoretical module - e-learning on the CMKP platform, covering current indications, contraindications and vaccination schedules;
- practical module - classes at an accredited center: Silesian Medical University in Sosnowiec (ul. Jedności 8).
Pharmacists who meet the following conditions may participate in the course:
- have the right to practice their profession,
- are members of the Silesian Chamber of Pharmacists,
- have at least 12 months of professional experience,
- have paid all due membership fees,
- delivered to the SIA e-mail address: [email protected] a correctly completed, signed declaration and statement, the templates of which constitute Annexes 1 and 2 to the Regulations, respectively,
- made a transfer of PLN 150.00 gross to the SIA bank account at PKO BP with the transfer title indicating "vaccination course".
Registration is ongoing; space is limited, and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration form is available at katowice.oia.pl and on the Silesian Chamber of Pharmacists' social media profile.
