Fado is celebrated in Almancil in the voice of Cuca Roseta
Fado singer Cuca Roseta will be performing in Almancil , in the municipality of Loulé. The concert, which celebrates fado, will take place at Authentic, on July 6th at 8pm, in an “intimate, profound and captivating” setting.
Cuca Roseta has already taken fado to more than 50 countries, on more than five continents. Along the way, she has shared the stage with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Bryan Adams, Julio Iglesias, Djavan, Seu Jorge and many other world-renowned names.
“Recognized for her unmistakable timbre, her emotional delivery and her presence on stage, Cuca is also the only Portuguese artist who has had the privilege of singing for Popes Benedict XVI and Francis,” reads a statement.
On this occasion, the public is invited to immerse themselves in the “soul of fado” through the voice of an interpreter who “unites tradition and contemporaneity with rare authenticity”.
“A celebration of Portuguese culture, music and identity”, concludes the statement.
