Suspect confessed to triple homicide in court.
Nicholas Prosper, 19, admitted in court to murdered his mother and siblings at the family home in Luton, England. The crime shocked the local community and, this Monday, the authorities revealed that the young man was also planning a shooting at a school.
On December 5, the young man admitted to the crime at the trial preparation hearing. confession came after an investigation revealed that the three victims died due to gunshot wounds to the head. Judge Michael Simon set sentencing for March 5, remanding the defendant in custody.
The trial official said it was crucial to prepare a report and analyse the forensic material collected at the scene. The report was drawn up and it was found that the suspect could have been planning an attack, based on the clues collected.
The young man was also charged with a number of other offences, including purchasing and possessing a shotgun without documentation and possessing a kitchen knife in a public place.
Crime day
The alert to authorities came at 5:30 am on September 18, 2024. When emergency services arrived at the scene they found three people with serious injuries.
Although rescue teams tried to reduce the severity of the injuries, the three victims were declared dead in their homes.
In October, an inquest revealed that all victims died from gunshot wounds.

The victims' family issued a statement remembering the three victims, Julie, Kyle and Giselle, fondly.

"Julie was a devoted and loving mother who lived for her four children," recall the victim's friends. She was a "generous, athletic and cause-involved woman" supportive". Kyle was considered a funny young man and passionate about football and boxing. Giselle "was a brilliant student and much loved by her friends", shared her family.
Giselle's school described the teenager as a "beautiful soul" and an "exemplary student". Kyle's school also deeply mourned his loss, saying that the school community is in shock over the tragedy.
