Meeting on the history, art and heritage of the municipality of Cantanhede

The III Cantanhede Meeting – History, Art and Heritage will take place on Friday and Saturday, in Ançã (Cantanhede) and on March 12, in Lisbon, revealed the Chamber, adding that “the conferences will be held in a hybrid format” (in person and online).

The initiative aims to “promote reflection around elements of local identity, based on studies by a group of academics and researchers with recognized work in areas that are somehow related to this universe”, adds the Cantanhede Council (Coimbra district), in a note sent to the Lusa news agency.

“This meeting plays a fundamental role in encouraging research and the sharing of knowledge, contributing to the preservation of collective memory and the understanding of the historical dynamics of Cantanhede”, says, quoted in the statement, the vice-president of the municipality and responsible for the Culture department, Pedro Cardoso.
