Perplexity Debuts $200 Monthly AI Subscription

After companies like Anthropic and OpenAI launched more expensive monthly subscriptions that grant access to advanced AI tools, Perplexity has a similar solution. Perplexity Max costs $200 per month and gives users unlimited access to the most advanced tools and products, and is available for iOS and web access.

With this subscription, users can use Labs, a tool launched in May that helps users create spreadsheets, presentations, web apps and more, without limit. Max also gives them early access to new tools, such as Comet, a web browser that is described as “a powerful thought partner for everything you do on the internet.” Other benefits include priority customer support and access to advanced models from partners like Anthropic and OpenAI, Engadget reports.

The company will also continue offering cheaper subscriptions, such as the Pro plan that costs just $20 per month.
