This is not a city in some obscure corner of the planet, but Moscow — the most dangerous capital in the world. Now it was the turn of the former Minister of Transport. He had been minister for only 24 hours, was fired… and died. Middle age. He faded away.

They are generals, ministers, members of the Federation Administration, journalists, activists, oligarchs and other figures who disappear without a trace. Or rather: they leave a trace, yes — of death.

It seems obvious that we only know about cases involving people who have been exposed in public, but it is true that the unknown, the ordinary citizens, those who dare to speak out against Putin, disappear in droves. They either die or are sent to the front line in Ukraine. Which, in essence, amounts to the same thing.

There is fear in the Kremlin. No wonder! It is the zero degree of extermination. Where everything begins and ends. It was once, but it stopped being so for decades, and now, with Putin, it has returned to the sinister times of Stalin. In the Kremlin, death is routine. It is a habit. A custom. A practice. There, only those who are still alive die. It is the current practice.
