preview for Justin Bieber’s Meteoric Rise to Stardom

THE RUNDOWN

  • Justin and Hailey Bieber revealed his surprise new album Swag is coming soon.
  • Justin shared a 20-song tracklist for the album, as well as its cover art, featuring photos of him with Hailey and their son, Jack.
  • Hailey posted multiple Instagram Stories about Swag on Thursday afternoon, prior to the album’s release.

Justin Bieber is finally releasing new music—and it’s set to drop imminently. On Thursday, the singer and his wife, Hailey Bieber, posted photos of billboards and advertisements for Justin’s new album, seemingly named Swag, on Instagram. The pictures were taken all across the U.S. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that the album is set to release on Friday, July 11.

Below, here’s everything we know so far about Justin’s seventh studio album, from its 20-song tracklist to its collaborators...as well as Hailey’s personal reaction to the announcement.

Justin hinted the new project is called Swag. The apparent cover art for the album appeared on billboards Thursday, which Justin then shared on Instagram:

The album appears to have 20 total songs.

Justin posted an Instagram photo of a State Farm Arena billboard in Atlanta, Georgia, displaying the titles. The tracks appear to be:

  • “All I Can Take”
  • “Daisies”
  • “Yukon”
  • “Go Baby”
  • “Things You Do”
  • “Butterflies”
  • “Way It Is”
  • “First Place”
  • “Soulful”
  • “Walking Away”
  • “Glory Voice Memo”
  • “Devotion”
  • “Dadz Love”
  • “Therapy Session”
  • “Sweet Spot”
  • “405”
  • “Swag”
  • “Zuma House”
  • “Too Long”
  • “Forgiveness”

Based on his track titles alone, it seems possible the album could address Justin’s mental health (“Therapy Session”), fatherhood (“Dadz Love”), and his relationship with Hailey (“Devotion,” “Forgiveness,” “Things You Do”). Hailey and Justin’s nearly 1-year-old son, Jack, appears in promotional art for the album, suggesting that family was a major inspiration for the new music.

On Thursday afternoon, the model reposted some of Justin’s Instagram Stories and shared a promo image of them together. In one post, she was playfully sassy, referencing Justin’s “clocking it” meme. “Is it finally clocking to you fucking losers?” she wrote alongside a shot of Justin’s tracklist and a photo of the family of three.

No features have been officially confirmed by Justin, but The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain are expected to appear on Swag. The outlet also reported that Justin worked with songwriter Sekou and producer Dylan Wiggins, as well as “other lesser-known music-makers that he discovered on social media and enlisted via DMs.”
