Pitt sues Jolie for $35 million over vineyard dispute.

American actor Brad Pitt has reportedly sued his ex-wife Angelina Jolie for $35 million in damages as part of their ongoing legal battle over control of the Château Miraval winery.
The information was released this Thursday (6) by "People" magazine, citing court documents that the Oscar-winning actor for "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood" allegedly presented as evidence on October 29.
According to the publication, the documents include communications between the legal teams of the two actors regarding the transaction carried out in 2021, when Jolie sold her stake in Château Miraval to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group.
Pitt, who sued his ex-wife in 2022, claims the sale was made "without his knowledge," violating a prior agreement that prohibited transactions without the consent of both parties.
Jolie, on the other hand, denies the existence of this pact and has filed a countersuit, accusing the actor of waging a "war of revenge" against her.
The new material presented by Pitt seeks to reinforce the argument that the actress acted improperly, while Jolie maintains that some of her communications regarding the sale are confidential.
Among the attachments presented is an email from November 2023, in which Jolie's lawyers state that "the onerous nature of this procedure is a consequence of Pitt's own actions" and that the actor would be responsible for the production costs of the documents required in the case.
As the legal process progresses, Pitt continues to claim $35 million in damages.
The dispute over Château Miraval, acquired by the couple in 2011 and famous for its award-winning rosé wines, has dragged on for years and symbolizes one of the most complex chapters in the separation between the two Hollywood stars.
According to People magazine, the next hearing in the case is scheduled for December 17th.
