Ten schools from various parts of the country at the Mealhada Samba Festival

On September 13th, “there will be a samba circle on the floor”, with the pagode group 'Samba à Gomes de Sá', with the night reserved for the parade of the 10 participating samba schools, from Ovar to Sesimbra.
Among the participating schools are the Trepa Coqueiro, from Sesimbra; Costa de Prata, from Ovar; Batuque from Mealhada; Trepa from Estarreja; Friends of Tijuca (Mealhada); Go Whoever Wants (Estarreja); Rainha (Figueira da Foz); Partners of Mangueira (Mealhada); Charanguinha (Ovar); and Real Imperatriz (Mealhada).
Also on the second day of the Mealhada Samba Festival, musician Nuno Bastos will perform.
According to the organization, another new feature for the Cidade do Samba – Mealhada Samba Festival is the 'Vila Mirim', on the afternoon of September 13th.
This is a space dedicated to children aged 6 to 12, who will have the opportunity to explore, through artistic workshops, the world of samba schools, from making costumes to playing drum instruments.
