The Who kicks off their final tour, 'The Song Is Over', in Italy.

Italy opened the last tour of the English band The Who, which marked an entire generation in the 1960s. Under the title "The Song is Over", vocalist Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, two of the members of the original line-up, began the group's final performances in Piazzola sul Brenta, in Veneto, on Saturday (19), continuing with the shows this Monday (21) in Milan, before fulfilling an agenda in the United Kingdom and the United States.
During the two-hour performance that opened the tour, the octogenarian musicians proved that they still have the charisma and desire to entertain their countless fans - many as old as they are - even though Daltrey almost fainted after performing "My Generation".
The audience, well-behaved at first, stood up to sing along to the string of hits "Baba O'Riley", "Won't get fooled again" and "The song is over", proving that the young people who founded the band in 1964 still live, in a way, in Daltrey and Townshend.
