Nvidia CEO sold €30 million worth of shares in the company

Nvidia CEO sold €30 million worth of shares in the company

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sold nearly 28,000 shares of the company between June 27 and July 1, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. market regulator. The transaction reportedly netted $35.1 million (€30 million).

The shares were reportedly sold for between $152 and $158 (€130 and €135.13), according to financial platform Investing.

Even with this sale, Jensen Huang owns 7.5 million Nvidia shares, currently worth approximately $1.2 billion (€1 billion). The sale of these shares was part of a pre-determined plan in March 2025.

Jeff Bezos sold Amazon shares

The same type of operation was carried out by Amazon founder and chairman Jeff Bezos in July.

The founder and chairman of the technology company sold three million shares of the company, which allowed him to raise 665.8 million dollars (568.7 million euros).

This share sale, CNBC reported, is part of a plan revealed this year that sees Jeff Bezos 'get rid' of 25 million Amazon shares by May 2026. The company's founder will still own more than 900 million shares of the company, which will be valued at almost $200 billion (€170.8 billion), keeping him as the technology company 's largest shareholder.
