WHO: No proven link between paracetamol, vaccines and autism

There is no proven link that paracetamol or vaccines cause autism, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Tuesday (23), following comments by US President Donald Trump to the contrary.
WHO spokesman Tarik Jasarevic told reporters that while some observational studies have suggested a possible association between autism and acetaminophen, or paracetamol, others “have not demonstrated such a relationship.”
“The evidence remains inconsistent,” he added.
And as for vaccines, he stated that there is no doubt: “Vaccines do not cause autism.”
