BaianaSystem will be operating in Porto, Lisbon and Almancil in September

The Brazilian collective BaianaSystem will return to Portugal in September, for concerts in Porto, Almancil and Lisbon, as part of a European tour, it was announced this Tuesday.
BaianaSystem will perform on September 12 in Porto, at Hard Club, on September 13 in Almancil, in the municipality of Loulé, at the Pé na Terra festival, and on September 14 in Lisbon, at Monsantos Open Air, according to the music and communication agency Arruada, in a statement released this Tuesday.
Formed in 2009 in Salvador da Bahia, the group would only release their debut album, “O futuro não tierra”, winner of a Latin Grammy, in 2019.
In the group's music, "the sound blend of the Bahian guitar with the Jamaican influences of the sound system, samba-reggae, afoxé, afro-rock and other local genres combine with very strong and concrete humanist, social and political messages."
BaianaSystem's fifth and most recent album, “O mundo dá voltas”, released this year, features artists such as Gilberto Gil, Anitta, Seu Jorge, Emicida and Dino D'Santiago.
Tickets for BaianaSystem's September concerts in Portugal are now on sale. Tickets for the Porto show cost 25 euros, and for the Lisbon show, they cost between 25 and 30 euros.
The Pé na Terra Festival takes place on September 12th, 13th, and 14th. BaianaSystem will perform on the second day. Tickets for that day cost 35 euros.
