Victor Ferraz of the PS joins Livre, Bloco and PAN to try to conquer Albufeira

School director Victor Ferraz leads the candidacy of the “Albufeira é Tua” coalition (PS/Livre/BE/PAN) for the presidency of the Albufeira City Council, which has several independents on its list.
Victor Ferraz is the current director of the Ferreiras School Group and has been a non-permanent councilor in the municipality for two terms. This is the first time that the parties have run together for all of the municipality's municipal bodies.
In a statement, a coalition source said that it brings together “a large number of independents”, some from the independent movements that ran in the last local elections in 2021, such as the Independent Movement for Albufeira (MIPA) and Albufeira Prometida (AP).
In the last local elections, MIPA elected one councilor and four municipal deputies, while AP elected one councilor and two municipal deputies.
The presidential candidate is married and the father of three children, and leads a project that aims to promote "leadership that is close and humble, seeking to bring out the best in teams, involving them in the process of change."
The coalition is a "union of wills, of know-how, of a desire to live, and above all of a desire to give a future to the entire municipality" and "will be a commitment, a mission in the name of Albufeira."
As already known opponents in the race for the Albufeira Chamber, Victor Ferraz has the current president, José Carlos Rolo (PSD/CDS-PP), Miguel Matias, from the Liberal Initiative (IL) and Rui Cristina (Chega).
