Nothing has officially unveiled a new generation of its wireless headphones, the Ear (3) and announced that, in addition to improvements in battery life and noise-canceling technology, users can expect other new features.
The biggest of these is the Super Mic, a feature that allows you to use the Earbuds (3) charging case as a microphone—which can focus more effectively on the user's voice and eliminate surrounding noise. In addition to using the Super Mic during calls, users can also use this feature to create voice memos.
The Nothing Ear (3) is equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, Spatial Audio, and IP54 protection for water and dust resistance. Noise-canceling technology blocks sounds up to 45 dB, while the Super Mic integrated into the charging case reaches up to 95 dB.
Nothing states that, regarding battery life, users can use the Nothing Ear (3) for 5.5 hours with active noise cancellation and up to 10 hours without this feature activated. Additionally, the charging case provides an additional 38 hours of battery life and is compatible with fast and wireless charging.
The Nothing Ear (3) will be on sale from September 25th for 179 euros and can be purchased in black and white.
