According to Russians, a decent pension should be 50 thousand rubles — SuperJob

On average, Russians consider a pension of 49,600 rubles per month to be decent. This is evidenced by the results of a study by the job search service SuperJob (available to TASS).
"According to the survey, the size of a decent pension today is 49,600 rubles, which is 1,500 rubles, or 3% more than in June 2024 (48,100 rubles). The older the respondents, the higher the amount of an acceptable pension: young people under 25 consider 47,400 rubles to be sufficient, while the average requests of Russians over 45 are 50,200 rubles," the results of the study say.
The higher the income level of citizens, the higher their expectations regarding a decent pension. Thus, people with an income of up to 50 thousand rubles per month need an average of 45,900 rubles, and those who receive from 100 thousand rubles - 51,000 rubles.
The highest pension demands are from residents of Moscow (52,400 rubles) and St. Petersburg (51,700 rubles). Third place in terms of pension expectations is occupied by Khabarovsk (50,000 rubles), followed by Tyumen (49,700 rubles) and Rostov-on-Don (49,600 rubles). Relatively modest demands were found among residents of Astrakhan (45,200 rubles), Yaroslavl (46,100 rubles) and Novokuznetsk (46,200 rubles).
Compared to June 2024, pension expectations increased the most in Izhevsk (+5.3%), Volgograd (+4.1%) and Kemerovo (+3.4%).
