During the summer renovation, the Novgorod railway station will restore the historical appearance of the building

Today, the acting governor of the Novgorod region, Alexander Dronov, met in Moscow with the CEO and Chairman of the Board of JSC Russian Railways, Oleg Belozerov. Following the working meeting, an agreement on interaction and cooperation for the next 3 years was signed.
The document defines the main areas of joint work on the development of passenger and freight transportation, improvement of railway infrastructure, and implementation of social projects in tourism.
As reported by the Novgorod Region Government, the launch of a branded train on the Veliky Novgorod-Moscow route, repairs and improvements to the railway station in Veliky Novgorod were also discussed during the meeting. "Work on the interior and waiting rooms of the station building will begin this summer, and the historical appearance of the building will be restored," the press release says.
“ The agreement signed today confirms our intentions to implement a number of areas, including the development of railways, tourism, healthcare, and social projects ,” said Oleg Belozerov.
