Elderly woman finds unexpected use for son's sex toy

Reddit user Undercover_union145 shared an embarrassing moment he had because of his own forgetfulness. When his wife went on a business trip, he took out his sex toy and left it in plain sight, forgetting that his mother was due to visit him one day.

"The night before, I washed a sex toy and left it on the drainboard in the kitchen. The next day, I came home from a 16-hour workday, exhausted and ready to just collapse into bed. I walk into the house and there's my mom on the couch happily playing with her dog. And the dog has a toy in his mouth covered in peanut butter," the author said.

Undercover_union145's mother didn't realize she was holding a sex toy and found an unexpected use for it: she thought it was a dog toy. The elderly woman didn't stay long, but after she left, the man had to chase the dog around the house, refusing to give up his favorite device.

"Now I lie in bed, sleep-deprived and emotionally drained, wondering if I'll ever be able to look my mother in the eye again. Or should I tell my wife? Or should I just disappear?" the author wrote.

He eventually told his wife about the incident, which only made her smile. She also scolded her husband for leaving the sex toy in such a visible place.

Earlier, sexologist Melanie Eichhorn said that there is a big difference between generations in their attitudes towards masturbation. According to her, young people are more open about this issue and about sexuality in general.
