Mironov spoke about new benefits for SVO participants

Mironov: in the near future we can expect the introduction of a rehabilitation certificate.

MOSCOW, May 14 — RIA Novosti. In the near future, we can expect the introduction of a single certificate for rehabilitation for SVO participants in Russia, believes the leader of the party " A Just Russia — For Truth", State Duma deputy Sergei Mironov.
"We see that the state is consistently implementing the initiatives of "A Just Russia - For Truth" to help SVO participants. Therefore, in the near future, I hope, we can expect the adoption of new decisions proposed by our party. In particular, the introduction of a single certificate for rehabilitation for defenders of the Fatherland, so that they can receive the necessary assistance not only in state, but also in private centers. This will make rehabilitation more accessible for hundreds of thousands of veterans and reduce queues," he told RIA Novosti, commenting on the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on new benefits for SVO participants.
Mironov recalled that Putin had previously ordered that families of military personnel be given free vouchers to subordinate health resorts to accompany soldiers wounded in the Northern Military District.
"This is what thousands of our soldiers who sacrificed their health for the sake of the Motherland really need. As is known, the care of loved ones not only facilitates the rehabilitation process, but also speeds it up. Therefore, back in 2022, we asked the government to consider the issue of organizing free travel for close relatives of servicemen and volunteers of the SVO to the place of their treatment and back. I am glad that our proposal was heard, and the decree of the head of state expands support measures for soldiers and their family members, which can only be welcomed," the politician added.
The leader of the SRZP also noted that the president's decision was far from the first one that was taken after the party's appeals; in particular, a law was previously adopted that equated volunteers who defended Donbass since 2014 with SVO participants, and now these people will be able to receive the status of combat veterans. In addition, Mironov clarified that in April Putin ordered the development of uniform standards for supporting SVO fighters based on the best regional practices, and the SRZP has been making this proposal since 2022.
