St. Petersburg airport faces disruptions again amid new drone attacks

On the morning of Friday, July 11, St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Airport again operated with interruptions after a UAV threat was declared in the airspace of the Leningrad Region.
As reported by the press service of Rosaviatsiya, the airport operated from 08:45 to 09:45 according to a temporary scheme. At present, all restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft have been lifted.
Eight planes flying to St. Petersburg were diverted to alternate airfields.
According to information on the airport's online board, more than 40 flights were delayed at Pulkovo due to drone attacks.
In addition, residents of the St. Petersburg agglomeration complain about a massive failure in the operation of mobile Internet. Thus, in Kupchino, "Beeline" and "Tele2" are failing, and in the Primorsky district, neither "Tele2" nor "Megafon" are working.
