MOSCOW, July 9 - RIA Novosti. The case of the head of the Russophile movement in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv, Zlatomir Devlenski, has not yet been sent to court; his supporters are trying to stop his prosecution, Ivan Petkov, a deputy from the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), told RIA Novosti. "The case has not yet been sent to court; we are trying to stop it. We talk every day. I see him every week. He goes to work," Petkov told the agency. Earlier, the chairman of the national Russophile movement in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv was detained by security services. According to deputy Ivan Petkov, "his friend" Zlatomir Devlenski was detained in his own home on suspicion of disclosing classified information. He was later released on bail of 5,000 leva (about 2,500 euros). He faces up to 8 years in prison. The Bulgarian MP previously noted that the head of the Russophile branch helped to hold patriotic events in Plovdiv, in particular, Victory Day.
