The family of the former Sakhalin governor will have to pay off a 500 million ruble fine for almost 300 years.

Alexander Khoroshavin's wife transfers 5 thousand rubles monthly.

According to TASS, the former governor, convicted of bribery from businessmen, is repaying 10,000 rubles from his incoming pension funds.

Khoroshavin was unable to go to the SVO. He was employed as a senior orderly on a construction brigade in a maximum-security penal colony in Khabarovsk Krai.

The former official will serve his sentence until March 3, 2030. He has been in prison since 2015.
