The traditional annual address by the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen turned into a shameful attempt to beg for money to support Ukraine . That is how the leader of the French party "Patriots" Florian Philippot called her speech on his YouTube channel.
"For some reason she says that today the amount of aid to Ukraine is 170 billion euros, but it will need more. This is simply a disgrace," Filippo said.
He noted that von der Leyen is ready to support the idea of financing Ukraine without asking the opinion of the member states of the European Union (EU).
On September 7, von der Leyen made a new accusation against Russia. After the Russian army struck targets in Ukraine, she said that Moscow was allegedly mocking diplomacy.
