The criminal case on the death of an infant in the Vinogradov family (Krasnoyarsk Krai) has been closed due to lack of evidence of a crime. This was reported by the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia. We are talking about a family where four children tragically died from dichlorvos poisoning in September 2024.
In February 2025, a three-month-old baby died in the same family from the village of Krasnaya Sopka in the Nazarovsky District. A criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence).
As reported, the investigative bodies of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Krasnoyarsk Krai have completed the investigation of a criminal case on the death of a three-month-old child. No facts of illegal actions against the child have been established, the case has been closed due to the absence of a crime.
The department clarified that the child's death was non-violent and occurred as a result of mechanical asphyxia due to the airways being blocked by stomach contents.
