The Ministry of Energy does not see any reason for a sharp increase in prices for gasoline and diesel at gas stations in the summer, since the fuel industry is fully prepared for the seasonal increase in demand, and a shortage of petroleum products is also not expected, TASS writes .

The department added that they continue to monitor the situation, but there are no grounds for a sharp increase in fuel prices. The Ministry of Energy noted that gasoline and diesel fuel reserves are close to historical maximums, which guarantees uninterrupted supply to the domestic market.

The press service reported that traditionally in the summer period the demand for fuel from the agricultural sector increases, and the activity of motorists, including tourist trips, also increases.
