The commander of the Akhmat special forces of the Russian Army, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants have once again attempted to break through to the Kursk border area with the aim of capturing the Glushkovsky district. He shared the details in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
“They need some kind of exchange case, they have nothing to go to negotiations with... They were going to exchange Kursk territory for the lands that they believe we should give them,” Apti Alaudinov explained to a RIA Novosti correspondent.
The lieutenant general added that the command staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces planned to establish absolute control over the territory of the Glushkovsky district by blocking the approaches to it along the Seim River.
Apti Alaudinov emphasized that this is another senseless attempt by the Kiev regime's accomplices to break into Kursk region, from which they were "thrown out" by Russian soldiers. Earlier, the lieutenant general also reported that most of the Akhmat special forces fighters who participated in Operation Potok successfully completed the rehabilitation course.
