US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff named the main topics of the upcoming negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict in an interview with Breitbart. According to him, these are Kyiv's renunciation of territories, the use of the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, and Ukraine's access to the Dnieper and the Black Sea.
"The main problems are related to five regions. Russia controls - in the overwhelming majority - two of these regions," he said.
According to the special envoy, the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which is a "pearl in the crown" due to its capacity, remains an important element of the discussion.
He also noted the importance of Ukraine's access to the Black Sea, which will allow it to gain access to the world's oceans.
