'TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland' opened to the public

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, organized as part of TEKNOFEST 2025 with the theme "Blue Homeland," the reflection of the National Technology Initiative vision on the seas, kicked off yesterday at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command. Bringing together technology and defense industry enthusiasts with a maritime focus, the event will be open to the public on August 29th, 30th, and 31st.
The event will be open in three separate sessions: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM, and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Each visitor will be allowed entry to only one session.
The event, which will focus on maritime and underwater technologies, will feature the Unmanned Underwater Systems Competition, Underwater Rocket Competition, and Unmanned Marine Vehicle Competition.
'MY FIRST TEKNOFEST EXPERIENCE'Nine-year-old Melisa Şendur said, "I'm so excited. We're going to look inside the ships. It looks beautiful, but it's overcrowded. It's a wonderful feeling. This is my first TEKNOFEST experience. I'm so excited, but everything is wonderful."

Nine-year-old Elif Sedef said, "I am very happy and very excited. I am excited because the ships are very big. They are very beautiful."
'WE WANT TO MAKE OUR STUDENTS EXPERIENCE THESE BEAUTIFUL FEELINGS'Osman Çizmeci, who visited TEKNOFEST with his students, said, "We want to give our students these beautiful feelings. We came because we want them to see our country reach even greater heights. This is our first experience. It will be wonderful. I think so."
Eight-year-old Habil Nezihi Kütükçü said, "First of all, the ships are beautiful. I'm so happy to come to TEKNOFEST. We'd like to thank our brother Selçuk Bayraktar and his team."
