SAMSUNY
Governor of Samsun, Orhan Tavlı, announced in a written statement that education was suspended for another day due to heavy snowfall throughout the province.
Tavlı stated in his statement, "Our fellow citizens of Samsun, our dear students, our valuable teachers and parents, since it is evaluated that there may be negativities such as transportation disruptions due to the heavy snowfall, frost risk and icing that continues to affect our province, as a precautionary measure, education has been suspended for 1 day on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 in all official, private, formal and non-formal education institutions and rehabilitation centers affiliated with the National Education Directorate, nurseries affiliated with the Family and Social Services Directorate, and need-oriented daytime and 4-6 age Quran courses affiliated with the Mufti's Office in our province."
Pregnant women, disabled people, and mothers whose children attend nursery or kindergarten who work in public institutions will also be considered to be on 1-day administrative leave.

ARMY
In the statement made by the Ordu Governorship, it was stated that heavy snowfall, frost and icing are expected to continue within the scope of meteorological data.
In the statement, it was announced that education and training will be suspended tomorrow in all official, private formal and non-formal educational institutions throughout the province, and it was noted that pregnant women, disabled personnel in public institutions and mothers with children aged 0-6, except for those working in security, health and snow-fighting units within the scope of snow-fighting measures, will be considered on administrative leave.

BARTİN
Due to the heavy icy conditions expected to affect Bartın, education will be suspended for one day in primary and secondary schools across the province tomorrow.
In the statement made by the Bartın Governorship, it was stated that according to meteorological data, there is a strong risk of icing throughout the province tonight and tomorrow, and that possible disruptions in transportation and other possible negativities are being evaluated.
In this context, it was stated in the statement that education was suspended in all private and public educational institutions (nursery, kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, high school, public education, private education, daycare centers and Quran courses) throughout the province on Tuesday, February 25, and that "Disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions and organizations and female personnel whose children attend nurseries and kindergartens will also be considered on administrative leave for one day. TRABZON
In the statement made by the Trabzon Governorship, it was stated that according to meteorological data, education and training were suspended for 1 day in all educational institutions in the province on February 25 due to the danger of frost and ice.
The statement noted that disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions will also be considered on administrative leave.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TOMORROW?
According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the whole country will be partly and very cloudy, the surroundings of Muğla and the southern parts of Edirne and the western coastal districts of Antalya will experience rain and showers, and the Central and Eastern Black Sea Region (excluding Çorum) and the surroundings of Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Sivas, Sinop, Van and Ardahan will experience sleet and snow. Rainfall is expected to be heavy in places on the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts and around Artvin. It is estimated that there will be icing and frost along with haze and occasional fog in the northern, central and eastern parts of the country. There is an avalanche danger in the highlands of the inland areas of the Eastern Black Sea Region and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.
Heavy snowfall continues to be effective in the north of Kastamonu, Sinop, Samsun and Ordu.
According to new forecasts, rain will continue until Monday evening.
Snowfall will continue intermittently in the new week. Heavy snowfall will be seen in the Central and Eastern Black Sea Region. Temperatures will rise in the interior and west of the country as of Tuesday.
