METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK
According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: It is estimated that the whole country will be partly and very cloudy, Muğla and the southern parts of Edirne and the western coastal districts of Antalya will experience rain and showers, and Central and Eastern Black Sea (except Çorum) and Çanakkale, Balıkesir, Sivas, Sinop, Van and Ardahan will experience sleet and snow. Rainfall is expected to be heavy in places on the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts and around Artvin. It is estimated that there will be icing and frost along with haze and occasional fog in the northern, central and eastern parts of the country. There is an avalanche danger in the highlands of the inland parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.
AIR TEMPERATURE: It is estimated that air temperatures will increase by 3 to 5 degrees across our country and will remain below seasonal norms.
WIND: It is expected to blow generally from the south, light, occasionally moderate, and on the central and eastern Black Sea coasts, from the west and northwest, strong and short-term storms (50-70 km/h) are expected.

HEAVY SNOWFALL WARNING: Since heavy precipitation is expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts and around Artvin, care and precautions should be taken against negativities such as disruptions in transportation, icing and frost, blizzard, and avalanche danger in sloped areas with high snow cover.
STRONG WIND WARNING: Since the wind is expected to blow from the west and northwest in the form of strong and short-term storms (50-70 km/h) along the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts, attention and precautions should be taken against possible negativities.
Avalanche danger, freezing and frost event WARNING: Since there is an avalanche danger in the highlands of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea Region and the steep and sloping slopes of the east of Eastern Anatolia, and heavy icing and frost events are expected in some places in the northern, central and eastern parts of the country, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against possible negativities.
