DEM Party applied to the Ministry of Justice for the Imrali meeting

DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan held a press conference at the party headquarters. Stating that the delegation was preparing for the 3rd meeting to be held in İmralı, Doğan said, "The application process has been completed, the application was made as of today. We expect them to go to İmralı Island as soon as possible, before the end of this week, so that they can meet with Öcalan. Then, on their return, as before, after the first meeting, attempts were made to meet with political parties, the Speaker of the Parliament, and various circles here in the Parliament. After these meetings, the public was informed in detail and comprehensively each time. We expect this meeting to take place as soon as possible, within a few days."

Regarding the call to be made from İmralı, Doğan said, "We have previously expressed that we hope that the historical statement expected after the meeting will be made, and that the historical call will be made, will be made in a video format, even though some issues have not been clarified. We have repeatedly stated that it would be better to be made in a video format, and that the isolation that has been maintained until today should be lifted. We have also expressed that the social demand is in this direction. In other words, let's state that the effect that a visible and audible statement will create will be a stronger effect."
