Dogs attacked sheep and chickens
Stray dogs attacked sheep and chickens in a pen and coop on a farm in Bursa. 5 sheep and 30 chickens died in the incident.
The incident took place at around 04:00 in the farm belonging to İbrahim Aktaş (30) located on Halil Ergün Street in Selçuk Neighborhood of İznik district.
According to IHA news, stray dogs entered the pen and coop on the farm and attacked the sheep and chickens. In the attack of the stray dogs, 5 sheep in the pen and 30 chickens in the coop next to the pen died.
Aktaş's neighbor, who went to the barn upon hearing the sounds, said that the dogs attacked him as he tried to chase them away.
Farm owner İbrahim Aktaş, who stated that he was shocked when he came to the pen and saw his animals, said, "Animal lovers in İznik are protecting the dogs. They are welcome to come and protect my chickens and sheep; I ask them to respond to my voice and come find me."
