Father and son killed in car that overturned into irrigation canal, many injured

The car with registration number 38 ADN 831, driven by Yasin Polat (33), overturned into an irrigation canal in the Kılavuzlu neighbourhood. Following the report, fire department, AFAD, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

The driver, his wife Merve, and their 3-year-old twin children Asil andAslan were injured in the accident.

The injured people were removed from the car by fire department and AFAD teams and taken to various hospitals in the city by 112 Emergency Health teams.

The injured father and one of the twins could not be saved despite intervention at the hospital.
