Financial investigation into Leman Magazine executives

An investigation was launched yesterday by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office ex officio regarding the publication of a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad in the June 26, 2025 issue of the magazine Leman. Detention orders were issued for 6 people, including the cartoonist of the controversial cartoon, while 4 suspects were taken into custody. NEW INVESTIGATION Today, there was a new development. The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announced that a financial investigation had been launched into the magazine.
