Fire panic in Avcılar

A fire that broke out in a house in Avcılar sparked panic. The fire, which started in a socket while the homeowner, Ferdi Kaçmaz, was taking a shower in the bathroom, quickly engulfed the house. Meanwhile, the cat, Raşo, alerted his owner with his vocalizations.

Escaping from the bathroom amidst the smoke, Kaçmaz rescued her cat from the flames and alerted the building's residents to the fire department. Crews arrived quickly and extinguished the fire before it could spread to other apartments.

The apartment was destroyed in the fire, and homeowner Kaçmaz, who survived thanks to his cat, said, "My best friend saved me." Describing the incident, Ferdi Kaçmaz said, "I was in the shower at home. My cat was inside. Suddenly, it started screaming in pain. I jumped up. I saw the fire on the couch. I turned the couch upside down to prevent it from spreading. I took the cat and started to remove the occupants. The entire house was destroyed, but thank God, we're okay."
