Forest fire in Balıkesir
A forest fire broke out in the Dursunbey district of Balıkesir.
The fire, which started in an agricultural land in the Kurtlar Neighborhood of the district and whose cause is unknown, later spread to a forest area.
Upon notification, the Regional Directorate of Forestry and Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality fire brigade teams were dispatched to the region.
A helicopter, three planes, 10 water trucks, four water supply vehicles, five first response vehicles, two dozers and 100 personnel are responding to the fire by land.
