He fell into a canyon during a nature trip and died tragically.

The incident took place this evening in the Zinav Canyon in the Reşadiye district. Turan Başaran (44), who went to the canyon with his family for a nature trip and picnic, suddenly lost his balance and fell into the water from a height of several meters.

His lifeless body was found

Witnesses reported the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, divers from the Tokat Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) were dispatched to the area. The teams searched the canyon and found Turan Başaran's body. Başaran's body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
