He had been wanted for days! His lifeless body was found in a roadside refrigerator.

Having not heard from Tekin Atılgan, a father of two who had been married and divorced twice, relatives reported him missing to the police on August 17. Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Security Branch launched an investigation and found Atılgan's car abandoned. Police further investigated, and also examined security camera footage from the ice cream factory where Atılgan worked and the surrounding area.

The vehicle that left the factory was tracked

The investigation determined that a vehicle leaving the ice cream factory on the day Atılgan disappeared was heading toward the Altunhisar district of Niğde. Police, focusing their search in this area, discovered the refrigerator in a rocky area on the side of the road near Altunhisar yesterday. When they opened the refrigerator, they discovered the lifeless body of Tekin Atılgan.

IT WAS REVEALED THAT HE WAS KILLED WITH A GUN

Tekin Atılgan's body was taken to the morgue of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy. The autopsy determined that Atılgan had been shot to death. Police determined that the vehicle in which he was transported belonged to YCK, who worked at the same workplace. YCK, who was understood to have shot Atılgan to death, was also detained yesterday in Kayseri, where he had fled and was hiding. YCK was brought to the Aksaray Police Department for questioning.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
