According to Emrah Özcan from the Türkiye newspaper, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler , regarding the fate of PKK members who have reached military age, said, "Turkish citizens who have reached military age and who have not participated in any action or completed their military service are drafted. Until now, our Kurdish brothers have served without any problems, and no problems have occurred there."
