The government's call for a new peace process, which began with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call on PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan, is a matter of curiosity. The subsequent disarmament ceremony, which the organization represented, is a source of speculation. A special session on the "Terror-Free Turkey" process was held at the AKP's three-day Kızılcahamam camp. The session also raised the question of what would happen to PKK members who have reached military age.

According to Emrah Özcan from the Türkiye newspaper, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler , regarding the fate of PKK members who have reached military age, said, "Turkish citizens who have reached military age and who have not participated in any action or completed their military service are drafted. Until now, our Kurdish brothers have served without any problems, and no problems have occurred there."

On the other hand, it is also stated that Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek said, "The relief in the region will be reflected in investments," regarding the contributions of a Terror-Free Turkey to the economy during the sessions held at the camp.
